Locally Owned

We are a local family-owned and operated business, serving the wonderful community and supporting other local businesses with fresh produce daily. Before becoming Banksia Fruit and Juice Barn in July 2022, we were previously known as Wrights Fruit Barn, which was also owned by another local family, Kerry and Jan Wright, and their daughter, Jackie Wust.

In 2019, the Wrights decided to sell their much-loved shop after 40 plus years of serving this beautiful community on Bribie Island and surrounding suburbs. This is when Michael Taddio and Kristy Murphy became the new owners and continued the tradition.

In 2022, Michael’s father, Rico Taddio, also came on board as an owner, and we all decided to relocate to the Banksia Beach Shopping Complex. There, we incorporated a fresh juice and smoothie bar and Rico’s Fresh Deli, which offers a variety of cold sliced and whole meats, salamis, and many other delicious Italian and Asian products. This is where Banksia Fruit and Juice Barn was born.

Health & Wellness

Here at Banksia Fruit and Juice Barn, we are very big on health and wellness, which is why we created a delicious fresh juice and smoothie bar. We are the only juice bar on the island where all our juices are made from pure fruit and vegetables sourced from within the store, right in front of you.

You can choose from our wonderful menu, which includes cold-pressed orange juice, plain flavored juices, antioxidant juices, green juices, fruit and vegetable mixed juices, as well as a range of mocktails and milkshakes. Alternatively, you can come in and create your own flavor. All our delicious juices have numerous benefits to keep you refreshed and healthy.

Our other health and wellness products include our range of magnesium products from Amazing Oils, which are important for our daily use, such as sleep and relaxation, keeping your body active, and maintaining healthy skin with their skin range. We also offer Epsom salts for a relaxing bath to soak up the day, along with Aussie Legends hemp seed oils and capsules, which also have many benefits.

Home Delivery

Banksia Fruit and Juice Barn is very driven and highly devoted to supporting local businesses wherever we can. We offer home delivery, click-and-collect services, and a lot of wholesale, supplying our fresh produce to local cafes, restaurants, aged care facilities, schools, and offices, just to name a few. We also support our local Agencies and various clubs with donations, fruit trays, and vouchers for raffles.

We love supporting our customers as much as they support us. YOU, our customers, are our number one priority, and we will always try to help with anything you need to make things easier for you.

We always have the freshest produce, and if there is something we don’t have in stock or don’t normally sell, we can always try to get it in just for you.
